Reverse Osmosis (RO) System Overview

The Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification system is an advanced membrane separation technology widely used for producing high-quality purified water. It works by applying pressure to raw water and forcing it through a semi-permeable membrane, which effectively removes dissolved salts, organic substances, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities.

Compared with traditional filtration technologies, reverse osmosis offers higher filtration accuracy, capable of removing up to 99% of total dissolved solids (TDS). The system is designed with a modular structure, allowing flexible configuration based on different water quality and capacity requirements, from small-scale commercial use to large-scale industrial projects.

Standard Treatment Sequence:

Quartz sand filter → Activated carbon filter → Water softener → High pressure pump → RO system → UV Sterilizer → Ozone generator

The pretreatment section (Sand/Carbon/Softener) removes suspended solids, chlorine, and hardness to protect the RO membrane. In double-stage systems, the permeate from the first stage is processed again for even higher purity, suitable for electronics and pharmaceutical industries.

Frequently Asked Questions
What details are needed for a proposal?
Please provide your raw water source (tap, borehole, seawater, etc.), a water analysis or TDS value, required output volume per hour, and the intended application.
What production capacities do you offer?
Our systems range from small-scale units (hundreds of liters per hour) to large industrial plants exceeding 100 tons per hour. Custom capacities are available.
Can the system handle high-salinity water?
Yes, we design specific configurations for brackish water and seawater using appropriate high-pressure membranes and corrosion-resistant materials.
Are electrical specifications adaptable?
Yes, system voltage and frequency (e.g., 220V/380V, 50Hz/60Hz) can be adjusted to meet your regional industrial power standards.
What consumables require periodic replacement?
Routine consumables include pre-filter elements, chemical dosing agents for scale control, and RO membranes after their effective service life.
How is the equipment packaged for shipping?
Equipment is securely packed in standard export wooden boxes or reinforced skid mounts to prevent any damage during international transit.
