Product Description

The economical (manual) pigging system mainly consists of a launching station, a receiving station, and a pig. There are two types of manual pigging systems: the manual system where the pig is manually removed from the receiving station, and the semi-automatic system where the pig can be sent back to the launching station by driving force upon reaching the receiver.

Manual Pigging System

Economical (Manual) Pigging System Benefits:

  • Economical and Cost-effective
  • Fast return on investment, normally 3-6 months
  • Suitable for simple applications in liquid food, pet food, detergent, chemicals, lithium battery, and other industries
  • Effectively reducing material waste and saving costs
  • Recover 99.5% plus of the residual product in the pipeline

Key Features:

  • Launching and receiving stations can be cleaned together with the pipeline during CIP.
  • The pipeline pig is firmly fixed when entering the station.
  • Automation components can be further upgraded at any time.
  • Low maintenance and operation costs.
  • Efficient modular design for easy integration into existing process pipelines.

FAQ
1. What is a manual pigging system?
Manual pigging systems use manual control to launch and receive the pipeline pig. The pig can be manually removed from the receiving station at the end of the process or returned to the launcher for the next cycle.
2. How does a pigging system work?
It uses a specialized "pig" propelled by the product or a separate medium (like air) to clean walls and recover residual product, significantly improving efficiency and reducing waste.
3. What are the main benefits of using this system?
The system offers enhanced product recovery (up to 99.5%), reduced waste, improved operational efficiency, and minimized downtime through effective cleaning.
4. What materials and standards are available?
Our systems are primarily made of SUS316L stainless steel. We provide both ISO standards (1" to 6") and DIN 11850 Series II standards (DN25 to DN150).
5. What is the temperature and pressure range?
The system is designed to operate at temperatures between 0-100℃ and can handle pressures ranging from 0-10 Bar.
6. Can the manual system be upgraded later?
Yes, the efficient modular design allows for automation components to be further upgraded at any time to meet changing production needs.
