Product Description

The economical (manual) pigging system mainly consists of a launching station, a receiving station, and a pig. There are two primary configurations:

  • Manual Pigging System: The pig must be manually removed from the receiving station.
  • Semi-automatic Pigging System: The pig can be sent back to the launching station by driving force upon reaching the receiver.
Manual Pigging System

Key Advantages:

  • Economical and extremely cost-effective.
  • Fast return on investment (typically 3-6 months).
  • Suitable for liquid food, pet food, detergents, chemicals, and lithium battery industries.
  • Reduces material waste and saves operational costs.
  • Recovers 99.5% plus of residual product in the pipeline.

System Features:

  • Stations can be cleaned together with the pipeline during CIP.
  • The pipeline pig is firmly fixed when entering the station.
  • Modular design allows for future automation upgrades.
  • Low maintenance requirements and operating costs.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is a manual pigging system?

Manual pigging systems use manual control to launch and receive the pipeline pig. The pig is manually removed from the receiving station or returned to the launcher for the next process cycle.

2. How does a pigging system work?

A specialized "pig" is inserted into the pipeline and propelled by the product or a separate propellant. As it moves, it cleans the pipeline walls and recovers residual product, improving efficiency.

3. What are the primary benefits of pigging?

Key benefits include enhanced product recovery (up to 99.5%), reduced waste, improved operational efficiency, and minimized downtime through effective cleaning.

4. What industries are these systems suitable for?

They are ideal for liquid food, pet food, cleaning detergents, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and lithium battery manufacturing.

5. Can the system be cleaned using CIP?

Yes, both the launching and receiving stations are designed to be cleaned together with the main process pipeline during standard CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures.

6. What pipeline standards are supported?

The systems are available in both ISO standard sizes (1" to 6") and DIN 11850 Series II standards (DN25 to DN150).
